Higher Spanish Homework

**UPDATE MONDAY 3RD mAY**

Hi folks

Here is a link to the Bitesize revision page. It will be helpful for Listening files and also a grammar review. This is a very useful site and you should try and access it when revising.

Finally, here’s a link to the Podcast “Coffee Break Spanish”. Feeling tired or had enough of studying? Listen to this! Relax and revise Spanish vocabulary and grammar without doing anything! (It may be easier downloading this podcast from I-tunes as you get more access). Go to I-tunes, podcasts and search for coffee break spanish)

¡Hola a todos!

Paper 1- Reading, Translation & Directed Writing

- You have the L T Scotland booklet to help you with all of the above skills. If you’d like more Reading Past Papers please collect them next week

For extra Translation practice, take small sections from a reading paper to translate and they can be marked inschool

For Directed Writing you must ensure that you are very familiar with set phrases which are all in the yellow booklet. Regular revision of the Preterite, Imperfect and Conditional Tenses is also advisable.  Do a few DWs under test conditions to be marked

Paper 2- Listening and Writing

- Practice your Listening skills by using your Scolarnet pack which also contains translations.

You could also search the SQA website for Past Papers. There is a direct link to this page on the blog home page

You must have revised over your essays for Section B. Having a rough idea of vocabulary for each topic is a good idea. Learn set phrases that could be used your essays too. Remember that on the day you will have to adapt your essay to the questions asked!

Finally, use Scholarnet as we have not used much if this in school yet. If you have forgotten your username and password come in to school to collect it!

*There is a box in room 6 if you have any work you wish to be marked*

Good luck with the exams!
